Skill Cubes

Skill Cubes (스킬 큐브) are upgrades that enhance a skill in various ways. Each Skill Cube will tune the skill and unlock a specific function. (View skill information for details).
To unlock a Skill Cube, you simply need to have the skill at the required level for that cube.

Each skill has 4 ranks: Novice, Advanced, Expert and Master.
Once Master Rank is unlocked, a 4th Skill Cube slot is unlocked, allowing you to install Option Cubes into that skill, giving it various different properties depending on the Option Cube.

Advanced

Advanced Skill Cubes are automatically unlocked when you reach the required level, and are distinguished by a bronze corner.
Most Advanced Skill Cubes add a second motion to the skill, increasing total damage. Some may also (or only) provide a passive effect.

Skill Level Requirement:

  • Actives: Lv. 3 (Lv. 1 if Excite Again!)
  • Finishing Moves: Lv. 2
  • EX Skills: Lv. 1


Expert

Expert Skill Cubes are automatically unlocked when you reach the required level, and are distinguished by a silver corner.
Most Expert Skill Cubes allow aerial usage of the skill, and some may provide a passive effect.

Skill Level Requirement:

  • Actives: Lv. 6 (Lv. 1 if Excite Again!)
  • Finishing Move: Lv. 4
  • EX Skills: Lv. 5


Master

The highest stage you may tune a skill. Master Skill Cubes are automatically unlocked when you reach the required level, and are distinguished by a gold corner.
Master Cubes have no distinct function across all of them, instead doing a wide array of different things, such as boosting the skill's situational damage, lower cooldown, or adding another attack or buff. They are the most diverse of all skill cubes.
All Finishing Move Master Skill Cubes will increase the Finishing Move's Super Armor Crash Level by 1.

Option

A 4th optional slot that allows you to install common generic cubes found inside Skill Cube Boxes (Search for '스킬 큐브' in Black Market), which are obtained from Plane Gate dungeons. Some basic ones may also be purchased through Jung Doyeon.
They give the skill it is installed into stat boosts much like certain Master Skill Cubes, while others reduce MP cost or allow the skill to function as a cancel for your other skills.

To use an option cube, open your skill menu (Default "K") and go to the skill you want to use the cube on. Then drag and drop the option cube on the 4th cube slot of the said skill.

List of Option Skill Cubes

Unless otherwise stated, Option Skill Cubes may only be used for normal actives. Stat boosts will only apply to hits from the skill the Option Skill is applied to.

Just like equipment, when you receive a Skill Cube, the amount of stat increased is randomly selected based on grade.
The number ranges listed on the list will tell you the minimum possible stat increase to the highest possible stat increase.
